think rainbows

Last night probably (and I hope) was the worst that I have to go thru to travel from my workplace going home. Usually it takes me about an hour and thirty minutes max on my way home, riding 1 jeepney, 1 multicab, and finally a van. While last night, it took me three hours including 1 tricycle ride, 1 jeepney ride, 2 fx rides, around 30 minutes in the long line, and finally a van just to get home. There was traffic everywhere! Probably because of the sudden rain fall in the afternoon, adding to the rush hour of people going home from work. It was just crazy.

Luckily I decided to eat while I was lined up waiting for the van since I was already hungry anyway. If I didn’t, and I didn’t have any food with me, that would be torture. But at least I’ve proven something last night!

There are two stations at the MOA terminal for Las Piñas-bound people, one for passengers until Casimiro only, the other for passengers up to SM Southmall. To avoid confusion, since there were other shuttles there for Cavite and Malibay too, the barkers had the passengers for Casimiro and Southmall form only one line, one line for Cavite-bound passengers and the other for Malibay-bound ones. Since the area wasn’t that big to form three long lines, you might get lost if you don’t ask directions to which line you’re supposed to go to.

I was the last one in the line when a couple asked me to which line that was, so I said it was for Las Piñas-bound passengers. Then there was another lady who asked me what that line was for. And then there was another one who asked if that was the line for Las Piñas-bound passengers. That’s three all in all, and usually I don’t get asked that much or there’s just one who would. So because of this, I have concluded that I am indeed approachable!

Why am I thrilled about this? Because at least other people don’t think of me as suplada or masungit, comments which I do get from other people at times. Of course you would want to ask someone whom you think looks okay to ask. I always say that I am very approachable but there are some who don’t agree. They say that sometimes I look too serious or even nakakatakot or mataray. (Do I?) I’m not! Maybe sometimes I am, but that’s just for people whom I don’t like or when I’m in a not so good mood, which is a totally different case I believe. I think I’m just not the kind of person who would be the first to start a conversation with a stranger. I only do so most likely when asking for directions or other information too.

What you see is not what you always get you know.

Allow me to ask you then, I’m approachable naman diba? Right? :D
