As I was on my way to work this morning, I was thinking about how much I miss school. College, to be exact.

A girl in her UST-Engineering uniform passed by, then I saw her bag tag and I thought, I want one of those. =)) It had a tiger and "rawr" on it.

Then the guy sitting next to me in the bus was from UST-Architecture. I saw his baller, and I thought I want one of those. It was a UST 400 baller.

The movie Who's That Girl starring Anne Curtis and Luis Manzano was being shown on the bus. Anne and Luis were college students from UST there. I saw the scenes they shot inside the campus. Oh how I miss my school.

This morning is a black gold black white morning. =))

I wonder when I'd be able to go back. Soon I hope. Maglalakad lakad lang ulit ako sa loob. Just like what I usually do. =))

I really miss school. The schedule, the people, the places, events, everything about it. It was like a haven, a place I knew I always had. Where I could be happy, sad, just be myself, and still be free.

Outside, it's different. Yes, I still could be happy, sad, be myself, and be free. But it's more complicated. At mas marami. Wider place, bigger audience. Exciting, yes, but scary at the same time.

    Happy Birthday Dei! =D

    P.S.
    Please don't change UST's logo anymore? :s

Finally it's here! And it's almost over. DAMN.

    I imagined a different June 25.

I'm not saying that I'm not happy though. :) I AM. =D I always am whenever it's my birthday, haha.

I just thought it would be different. Happier, maybe.

It only comes once a year, I could only celebrate it once a year, and I always wanted it to be super. But I always don't get it, hahaha! So much for planning things. :)) I need more moolah.

Went to church at 6am. It was raining hard, mom and I got wet, we made it to the church though, but it was already the offertory. At least we made it. I was still able to thank Him.

I slept after, replied to text messages from people greeting me, then woke up at quarter to 10 to get ready for lunch.

Went out with kuya to buy my cake and ice cream. Then lunch with my family which was really fun. :) Super kain and tawanan. =)) *Hahaba pa buhay ko, I got spaghetti, carbonara, and pancit! =))*

Did nothing the whole afternoon, just waited for my high school friends to show up. :)) Jam and Hazel arrived thankfully, and we still had fun. =D Lupit talaga ng girlfriends ko. :))

Unfortunately not everything went as planned. Other invited friends weren't able to come. Other planned activities were cancelled. I wanted to go out, but I had nobody to go out with. =)) It's okay though, can't blame them if they can't make it, but can't blame me either if may konting tampo, right? =)) *Sorry =)) But yeah, this will have to do. =D*

I'm super touched with all the birthday greetings though. Through text, plurk, twitter, facebook, and even personal. I love birthdays. Haha. I got tired with typing "thank you!" to everyone who greeted me over Facebook, but it was super fun. Sana bukas ulit!

Still, I'm happy and thankful for my birthday. It was just a simple day, but still there's something special and different with it. And after this, everything's back to normal. Good luck naman. =))

Thank you Lord for all the blessings. Thank you to everyone in my family, and to all my friends, and to everyone who greeted me. Thank you super! Thanks for remembering!

    'Til next year! =))

    P.S.
I was expecting someone to greet me, that person hasn't yet, we'll see if that person will remember, or will actually do greet me. =))

    P.P.S.
And I got two cakes! =))

So yesterday, everyone had to brave the rains, floods and wind just to be able to get home. Some were even stranded in the offices, some of my officemates included. I was lucky to get a ride going home from one of my officemates, but still had to pass through our flooded street. I had no other choice, it was just only a few steps away anyway, so might as well.

It's still raining today. Hopefully the rain would stop soon, so yesterday won't happen again. And luckily, no one gets stranded, and we'd all be able to go home safe and sound.

Looks like it'll be a rainy birthday weekend.

Thanks for the cake, Alvin. =D

It's tomorrow. Hopefully it'll all still be fun. =)

    P.S.
Dapat may department rin for suspension of work days. LOL.
This is the only acceptable rain that won't give you any hassle. You'll even be sayin, more please! =D (Credits to plurk posts by Aja and Cheski. =P)

I just found a post regarding the schedule of UAAP men's basketball games for the first round of eliminations for Season 74. After all the issues going around, I hope this is final.

    And here's what I think.

I'm not sure about the games being held earlier. First game starts at 1pm, second game starts at 3pm. According to the post, this is probably to be able to still play at Araneta even if there's a scheduled PBA game that day, which are usually scheduled at 5:30 pm and/or 7pm. I'm not sure if I'd still prefer the 2pm and 4pm games over this; well at least I/we get to go home earlier after the game, haha. We'll have to wait and see. (Good luck if games go on overtime. Remember Adu vs. UST last season going on triple overtime?)

The Ateneo-Lasalle match is scheduled early this year. Last year it wasn't until the 7th playing date, but this year it's at the first Saturday schedule of the season. Excited? Or they just want to get it over and done with early? I want to watch it this time. Good luck with the tickets. =))

UST's first game, against NU, is scheduled on a Thursday. Ugh, won't be able to watch.

There are only 3 play dates in the first round with the Philsports Arena as the venue, kind of expected. Though I thought I would be seeing the Blue Eagle gym as one of the venues. Probably it would be used for other sports. Kind of a good thing since Araneta's way bigger than Ultra, and I think you could buy tickets ahead of time. But what I liked about Ultra is that even though you're seated at their General Admission area, it's like you're seated at the Lower Box in Araneta. And you could easily go down the court, then to the dugouts, LOL. Players are more easily accessible. =))

There will be a meeting on July 5 regarding the eligibility of players in the teams' line ups. I wonder what would happen if suddenly they won't allow Bobby Parks or Greg Slaughter to play. *wishful thinking* It seems kind of impossible already that Slaughter won't be allowed to play. As for Parks though, it's a different story. If I'm not mistaken, they're saying that foreigners have to have two years of residency; Parks only has one. We'll see.

Yes, I'm excited. =)) GO Tigers!

    P.S.
Ryan Buenafe's not playing for the Blue Eagles. 260 lbs.?! HELLO?!

    3 days! =D

24 days before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

19 days before the opening of the 74th season of the UAAP.

12 days before the Azkals home match against Sri Lanka.

    8 days before Transformers 3.

    4 days before June 25.

I'm not even sure if I'm consistent with the way I counted the days left before all those events are happening. =))

This day's kinda weird too. I don't know why, I just feel like it is.

Happy Birthday to one of my friends from UST, Kaye. :)

Happy Anniversary to Boom and Mia's show, On Demand. :)

    Happy Anniversary to isparkleen.com. :)

    Ciao for now!

    P.S.

11 days before Vice Ganda's concert.

    15 days before Kylie's concert.

28 days before David Archuleta's concert.

    June 15, 2011

    15...14...13...12...11...10...

Halfway mark of the halfway month of the year. Kuha mo? =))

It's June! As if it wasn't that obvious. Gusto ko lang i-emphasize. =D

It's one of my favorite months, although it is usually a very rainy month, and I only like rain as long as I'm not commuting. This month's always been special to me, probably because of it being my birthday month. Yes, in 10 days time, i'll be turning a year older. As they say, age is just a number, and I don't feel like I'm.....at all! (Do your own math!)

Other people my age have achieved a lot already, some even have their own families. As for me, I believe I'm just at the beginning. I'm still in the path to self-discovery, and no I did not quote that from some movie or some person. It's a general thought, really. And it's true.

I'm not saying that I haven't achieved anything yet, but I believe I can do so much more, and I want to. They're just waiting to be discovered. It's just a matter of right timing and having the resources to do these things. Whatever they may be, I will be ready. And as my age increments, I kind of start having a different kind of life. Not the Pepito Manaloto different kind of life, but you know, I start doing things I wasn't able to do before, I start making bigger decisions, I start meeting different kinds of people, and I start knowing myself more. I'm still young, and as what adults always tell you, you've got your whole life ahead of you. Marami ka pang kakaining bigas. Marami ka pang madidiscover. Marami ka pang pwedeng gawin.

But still, even though I'm having life changing moments, I'm still me, or that's what I generally think. But there are times too that I don't even know who I am anymore, or I don't know what I want to do anymore. I guess it's all part of the changes. It's all for the better. Confusing lang at times. Makes you think about life in a lot of different perspectives.

And now, about my very special day. I always want to celebrate my birthday and I'm always excited for it. It just happens once a year and it's the only day that people would text you and greet you because it's YOUR day. It's fun! So I just don't get it about people who don't like celebrating their birthdays, or keep their birthdays a secret or whatever. Oh well, people are different.

For this year, I don't know what I'll be doing on that day. If we're going out, or if I'm inviting friends over at our house, or if I'm treating people outside, or it'll be just family, or family and friends. I'm not sure yet, but if possible, I'd love to celebrate it on the day itself with family and friends. Pero kahit iba-ibang araw okay na rin, basta I get to celebrate my birthday with them. If it's possible to squeeze them all in that one day, I would, but I think that's pretty hard, and I wouldn't get to spend much time with each one of them. Sayang kung ganun. So, I just hope that I'd get to celebrate my birthday with them in any way possible and that we'd all have as much fun as possible. (Wait lang guys ha mag-ch-check pa ko ng budget. LOL.)

I'm actually not thinking of a birthday wish list right now. Naks! =)) So mag-u-update na lang ako kapag meron na.

    Ay, I know what I like. I'd love a surprise. =D

    Ciao for now!
